POSITION:
Bookkeeper – Business Office
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate or equivalent and secretarial exp.
- Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and
the operation of standard office machines.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices, and the
ability to apply these principles to work situations.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with employees and the general public.
- Ability to maintain essential records and files.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written
instructions and to adhere to prescribe procedures.
- Must be computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office
(Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel).
- Experience on EDUMET preferred.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of
U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Assistant School Business Administrator
JOB GOAL:
To assist and support the Assistant School Business
Administrator in the performance of his/her role and
Responsibilities by maintaining a thorough and
Efficient operation.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check invoices with purchase orders and prepares invoices for payment in
accordance with district policy (including field trips and professional days).
- Review T&E reimbursement vouchers submitted prior to payment.
- Prepare monthly contract payment and maintain schedule of contracts.
- Prepares payment of monthly bills for: utilities, warehouse, maintenance, and custodians.
- Prepares documentation for bill list total for board approval.
- Posts all payments of purchase orders, invoices, revenue slips, refunds, and vendor information as required in the computer.
- Prepare check run and sends out checks after approval at Board meetings.
- Assists Assistant School Business Administrator with 1099 mailing.
- Responsible for tuition billing and recording of payments.
- Processes bills for tuition students sent to Pre-School daycare providers.
- Types home instruction billing.
- Assist Assistant School Business Administrator with year-end closing procedures.
- Assist with yearly audit by obtaining information requested by auditors.
- Maintains complete and accurate files.
- Assists with opening and processing office mail.
- Works with Assistant Business Administrator to file quarterly SEMI Reports
- Performs such other duties as required or assigned by the School Business Administrator and Assistant School Business Administrator.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
12 Months. Salary to be determined by the Board of Education.
EVALUATION:
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Board policies and procedures on the evaluation of professional staff.
